Todd Sherman, REALTOR®, Broker/Owner
Along with studying law, making Austin home was one of the best things I could have done in my early life. I fell in love with a city, a community, and – best of all – my wife, Kim.
In 1998, before getting our real estate licenses, Kim and I bought our first home. It had been a goal for us, but it quickly became a challenge that stuck with us throughout these many years. Sometimes, it is a nightmare that helps shape one’s dreams.
Our first Realtor experience resulted in having a Realtor introduce us to a home builder and then abandoning us as we dealt with problem after problem in the build process. Ultimately, that transaction fell apart. A year later, in our second Realtor experience, we competed with multiple offers again and again and we were so poorly represented by an agent who we were handed off to, I ultimately had to demand that she back out of the negotiations so I could get the deal done. I never forget how I felt during these experiences and I vow that I will always do everything within my control to avoid having any of my real estate clients feel the way Kim and I did.
I practiced law for 13 years from 1992 to 2005 and every day, represented clients through legal challenges. As Kim and I decided to get our real estate licenses in 2002, we knew our professional experience and the experience of protecting the interests of others over the years would benefit us and our real estate clients well. When it comes to my career as a Realtor, I am passionate about one simple goal: giving my clients the very best representation as I assist them through the home buying or home selling process. If you put your trust in me, you will quickly come to understand that I always put my clients’ interests above my own. You should expect excellence and nothing less.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
